IS PS Tools compatible with Windows 7?

PS Tools version 5.0 B5 PSTools_50B5.zip is compatible with Windows 7 and 64 bit operating systems.

When I try to connect to my panel I get the message “PS-Tools not found correct panel connected to PC”

This message typically appears when the wrong panel type is selected in the Customer Info. verify in the upper right corner that the “Panel Type” matches the panel you are attempting to connect to.

To save a file to disk highlight your file then go to Tools\Export\Export to Disk

Click Save with the default file name or change the name if desired.

Go to folder C:\PS-Tools\Exportedfile and copy your file to desired media/location

Unable to change the SLC Protocol from LiteSpeed to CLIP mode or vise versa using the PS Tools software.

SLC Protocol must be changed through the panel keyboard. Note that if the panel is uploaded after the change, the program will reflect the updated setting.

I see on the website that there is a different PS-Tools User guide listed for each panel, do I need to download all of them?

A. No, depending on the panel type chosen when the Customer was created, the PS Tools software will open the correct user manual.
